Role Purpose: Responsible for building high-quality software applications that meet user needs and align with WIT design and Testing standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coding:
- Write clean, efficient code for assigned features.
- Perform unit testing to ensure functionality.
- Follow WIT and Testing team standards.
- Frontend Development
- Build UI components as per WIT design.
- Collaborate with the WIT team for UI/UX updates.
- Ensure components are user-friendly and tested.
- Backend Development
- Develop APIs and server-side logic.
- Manage and integrate with databases.
- Test backend for data accuracy and stability.
- Integration & Testing
- Connect the frontend and backend for full functionality.
- Prepare code for Testing team handoff.
- Fix issues based on QA feedback.
- Deployment & Monitoring
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor live applications for issues.
- Resolve any post-deployment problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a development team.
- Proficient in MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React JS, Node.js.
- Strong experience with React JS; exposure to AngularJS or Vue.js is a plus.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Express, and REST API development.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
