Position Overview:
The L6 Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring process efficiency, and leading the teams across (DS_E&B_WWS) & (NS_E&B_WWS) & (Prior Authorization_WWS) functions. This role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality, productivity, and compliance benchmarks. The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in team development, performance monitoring, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily workflow for all three functions, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
- Allocate and monitor workloads, balancing resources effectively across teams.
- Resolve operational issues, escalate critical concerns, and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to achieve high performance and professional growth.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in all processes related to eligibility & benefits verification, data submissions, and prior authorization tasks.
- Monitor quality metrics, conduct audits, and implement improvement measures.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies; develop and implement improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
- Track and analyze performance trends, recommending strategic actions where necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a team handling role
- Strong knowledge of eligibility & benefits processes, prior authorization workflows, and healthcare payer/provider operations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
