The Role:
- Multiple engineering teams. One operational standard.
- The Assistant Manager — Product & Engineering Operations leads cross-functional execution across SDT, STT, WIT, and AIT teams. From software development and testing to UI/UX delivery and AI deployment.
- You oversee project execution, sprint delivery, quality metrics, deployment readiness, resource planning, and cross-team coordination. You bridge product vision with operational execution while ensuring engineering quality, testing discipline, design consistency, and measurable intelligence outcomes.
- The Conductor does not manage isolated teams. It synchronizes the entire engineering ecosystem.
What You Will Own – Your Responsibilities :
- Team leadership — managing engineering teams across delivery operations
- Project execution — overseeing sprint plans, releases, and timelines
- Engineering governance — ensuring coding, testing, and deployment standards
- Cross-functional collaboration — aligning development, testing, design, and AI teams
- Quality & deployment oversight — monitoring defects, stability, and production readiness
- Operational reporting — tracking KPIs, SLAs, and delivery performance
- Risk & escalation management — resolving blockers, delays, and production issues
- Process improvement — improving CI/CD, QA workflows, and operational efficiency
- Team development — mentoring teams and strengthening engineering accountability
Non-Negotiable Metric :
- DELIVERY STABILITY + CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PERFORMANCE
- TARGET: ≥ 95% Release Stability | ≥ 90% Sprint Delivery Accuracy
- Measured through deployment success, testing coverage, delivery timelines, defect reduction, SLA adherence, and operational KPI improvements across engineering teams.
The Fight: What You will Fight:
- When development moves without testing, design hands off incomplete requirements, deployments go live without stability checks, or AI models launch without measurable outcomes — operational breakdown follows.
- The Conductor fights fragmentation, delivery bottlenecks, unstable releases, and quality compromises that slow teams and damage trust in the product.
- Your responsibility is not just execution speed. It is coordinated, measurable, production-ready delivery.
WHO THRIVES HERE : Three Traits We Cannot Teach
- You think system-wide — You understand how development, testing, design, and AI operations connect and impact delivery.
- You lead with discipline — You track metrics, resolve blockers early, and maintain execution standards across teams.
- You stay stable under pressure — You manage deadlines, escalations, and changing priorities with structure and control.
THE WWS PERKS :
- Exposure to software engineering, testing, AI deployment, and product operations
- Leadership ownership across multiple engineering and delivery functions
- Direct impact on product quality, operational performance, and delivery execution
- Collaboration with SDT, STT, WIT, AIT, and leadership teams
- A culture focused on reliability, accountability, and long-term product quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 7 years of experience in Software Development, QA, Product Engineering, AI Operations, or Technical Project Management
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering or product teams
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, testing workflows, and deployment operations
- Experience managing delivery timelines, operational KPIs, and stakeholder communication
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and escalation management skills
