Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AR/Denial Management Specialist to lead our team in tracking, analyzing, and resolving claim denials. The role involves managing denial workflows, identifying trends, and driving process improvements while mentoring team members and ensuring accurate revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, categorize, and analyze claim denials to identify root causes.
- Manage appeals and negotiate with insurance companies to resolve denials.
- Ensure accurate claim submissions and monitor compliance with payer guidelines.
- Identify trends in denials and recommend process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to team members effectively.
- Generate reports on denial metrics and revenue impact.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in denial management, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management in healthcare.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with insurance companies, providers, and team members.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to manage and mentor a team.
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot trends in denial data.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
