Job Summary
The Software Testing Team Chapter Leader is responsible for leading and continuously improving the testing process, ensuring high-quality testing practices across projects. The role focuses on defining test strategy, building team capabilities, maintaining quality governance, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality software releases, and contributing to the creation and maintenance of team process and system documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Decide and apply clear testing methods and rules for all projects.
- Make sure testing follows quality standards using manual and automated testing.
- Work closely with product, design, and development teams.
- Review test plans, check test coverage, and track bugs.
- Encourage automation testing and improve testing processes.
- Help projects succeed by fixing testing issues and reducing risks.
- Select and use the right testing tools and new ideas.
- Support hiring, performance reviews, and career growth of testers.
Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience in defect tracking and test documentation.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring teams is an advantage.
